The Shoebox
Specifications
'50 Ford Shoebox
Chassis:
I used a 90s s-10 clip and diff in the car.Z'd it 2.5" in front and its sits really low without any suspension mods at all.
Engine:
Mick gave me a good runnin lil 305 and we put it in the hole and it runs awesome everyday.Has done so many burnouts this past summer weve lost count and its still runnin strong.
It has a killer 700R4 in it that has all the B&M fixins in it.
Body:
Chopped 5 inches in front and 9 inches in the back.Sits really good, has that fastback look.
My good bro Lucky calls it "The Fist" or "Chop Shoey"
History:
I bought the car off of the original family (the Sluggetts of Brentwood)that bought it brand new here in Victoria.
The car hadn't been on the road since 1966 when I got it.Within a few months it was chopped, clipped, diffed and ready to rip up the streets of Victoria and beyond.
Huge thanx go out to my "Stickshifts" bros for helping me out on it.Especially my dad-inlaw Mr Pontiac Johnny Buck,Baron,Ish,Binder,Rosso,Stonion,Mick and whoever else picked up some tools and clanged around on it.
Oh yeah,my kids Blaze and Ember for priming it and Aunty Christy and lil Riguy for helpin out on the primejob too.
And especially my wifey for letting me get away with the krazy chit that I enjoy doing!
