'29 A lakes modified

Chassis:
I built the chassis outa 2x3x3/16 tubing.Its V'd and Z'd in the front as well as Z'd in the rear.we used '40 ford front axle,spindles and brakes.I built the spring behind axle setup.The rear uses typical transverse setup.

Engine:
The mill is a newer ford six with automatic.Totally stock and a good runner.Theo donated it to Craig "Poncho" Cockrane for the project.

Body:
I basically built the mod bod outa 28/29 closed car cowl and doors.Craig "Poncho" used the floor out of a minivan to make the back panel of the cab.It worked good and looks bitchin!He finished off the tops of the doors and tidied up the rest of the body before splashing it with some drab coating.

History:
I had built a chassis for a roadster pickup project that I was wanting to finish.Craig spotted it and wanted me to take it to the next level for him.We got to chattin and he really wanted a modified.So I ended up building a whole new chassis for the mod and used the cab from the RPU. I did most of the fabrication on the project with Craig taking posession of it as a roller.He proceded to thrash on it with help from Leo "OMP",Rev and a few others to getter done. All in all it turned out to be a great lil project for all involved and it turned out better then prolly we all thought it would. I gotta thank Craig for working on this whole deal with me and also Theo and Rimmer for helpin out along the way.As well as Craigs buddies who helped him out on his side of the pond.....Shiny
